Don’t know who will even use a number of these (lol), but it’s routine now, so hey.
I AM IN DENIAL ABOUT THAT, don’t confirm with me *sob*.
Actually, I read it again about five minutes after I wrote the entry and realized he was just the writer.
Ghost Soccor with Matsunaga Kesakatsu and Algeron with Minoru Kasai. But a Fujiryu work is still a Fujiryu work.
So sorry, I’m a day late with the translations. Actually, that aside, I had trouble reading it.
First off, Hiroyuki Asada’s 25th Aniversary tribute book that comes bundled with Tegami Bachi vol 14, will contain guest artwork by Akira Toriyama, Eiichiro Oda, Atsushi Kamijo, Shinji Murata, Tezuka Productions, Masashi Kishimoto, Takeshi Obata, etc… and our very own Fujisaki Ryu. Honestly, I’m just..,so tempted to get it for the one page of Fujiryu. You can see the rest of the author list here.
Second, after Kure-nai finishes serializing in Jump Square, it will be followed up by a new original work by Fujisaki Ryu. This is set to be published in the August issue of SQ (released in July 4). There’s actually little to no detail written about it. Additionally, it mentions something about [Flowers of Algernon] which Fujiryu worked on in June.
Happy 41th birthday to the best mangaka in the world aka the sci-fi geek aka Fujisaki Ryu! ♥
It’s been 16 years since Houshin Engi first published, I feel kinda old… Please keep on creating amazing, crazy and wonderful things, Sensei! If he wasn’t 41 years old I might as well propose to him, lol.
WHUAAAAAAAA??????
He wrote such a *master piece* at age 25???
WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE????
Aa, Fujisaki-sensei, live long and prosper ♥♥♥I know right, I feel like a worthless piece of shit compared to him ;^;
Fujisaki-sensei, let’s get married
*SOB* Not to mention his Worlds collection when he was 20 (which was also exceptionally interesting).

Leave it to me to find the most obscurest of series…
I’m reading the novel summaries (though quite effortfully…;;;), I tried my best to translate it but some words I’m not really quite used to…? I thought the series was complete but now it does’t seem so! (which just means I’ll get to see more nice Fujisaki artwork for the sequels~)
Vol 1, Open! The door of destiny!: Teased for being a good-for-nothing, Seishuku is sent to clean up a dirty room within the Princess’ quarters however…when he mistakes the ultimate spiritual cultivation technique “Fengshui” for a cleaning method, from the board appears a suspicious immortal apprentice who accidentally enters the scene…!?
Vol 2, Connect! The bonds between teacher and pupil: Ever since the thumb-sized immortal apprentice appeared, Seishuku has been aiming to become a Fengshui master. Feigning to be on a study trip, Seishuku inconspicuously travels to the town to take care of its Fengshui when he notices the sudden and unusual construction of a new Pavilion. Could there be a conspiracy occurring there that will shake the country…!?
Vol 3, Reach! The closeness of siblings!: Youngest child, Seishuku believes that “Fengshui can change destiny!” as he embarks on its path. In order to protect his older brother, Eishou, from the clutches of an evil religious organization, he heads to the enemy’s head quarters and inevitably faces his arch-nemesis…!? The long-awaited sequel to the greatly popular, award-winning book!
Vol 4, Protect! The prayers of a maiden: The self-taught Fengshui specialist Seishuku has his precious board taken by the mysterious “Beautiful Sisters”. Relentlessly chasing after them, he faces the National Marriage Temple where boys are forbidden from entering! Fengshui expert on love …(兄弟子の呉文恭???)… he dons on female clothing and infiltrates the establishment but trouble keeps popping up one after another…!?
I found this while reading his Japanese wiki~~~<3
風水天戯, Aka. Fengshui Tien Shi. Fujisaki’s rather unknown project work. He does the illustrations for this fantasy light novel written by Moran Mochizuki (published in Kadokawa Beans; also won the 8th Kadokawa grand prize). It looks interesting so I kind of want to read it but it also looks like a difficult read (I can only imagine how formal and old the dialogue will be…;;;;;)…. Although I would buy it just for the artwork.

(also, I’m bored so I went and added it to his English wiki…along with other edits)
Fujiryu is my favourite everything.

Houshin Engi Kanzenban scans from Godelixir. The Kanzenban art is so nice…I need to hurry up and buy the original manga.
And for whatever reason, I can’t seem to remember reading about Hakutenkun and Teitenkun…;;

Being a pretty old-school novel, the foundation of its premise and its
history of vampire-like beings is partly reliant on the usage of pre-existing
works; however, what Shiki does bring fresh to the table
is a wonderful, personal, step-by-step development…or rather, decay and
demonification of the average country joe in VERY explicit, gory details
coupled by extreme backwater rationale.
Whatever it lacks in the story department, it sure makes up for in the controversy department. As I watch with popcorn in hand, I’ll be jogging my brain by trying to place myself in the character’s shoes.
